Sri Lanka has cancelled its visa fees for citizens of 48 Countries including Ukraine, said a report by Ukrinform news agency.

The cancellation will be effective from August 1, 2019

Starting from August 1, 2019, the Government of Sri Lanka cancels visa fees for citizens of 48 countries, including Ukraine! Therefore, now a visa (for up to 30 days) will be issued upon arrival free of charge! Earlier, Ukrainians had to pay about $40 for a visa at the airport,” Ukrinform reported citing Lowcost Avia.

The visa fees for citizens of 48 Countries including Ukraine have been canceled for the next six months after which the Sri Lankan government would assess the effectiveness of the program.
