Putin reaches France to discuss Syrian crises with Macron
Monitoring Desk: Russian President Vladimir Putin landed at Charles De Gaulle Airport for the first meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, said RIA state run Russian RIA Novosti news agency.
According to news agency, fighting terrorism is top on the agenda of Putin meeting with French President Macron.
“Putin and Macron will discuss the trade and economic ties between the two countries, as well as the fight against terrorism”, reports RIA Novosti.
According to available agenda, meeting of the two heads of state will be held in Versailles.
Russian President Putin will also visit the exhibition “Peter I. Tsar in France 1717” marking 300 years of Franco-Russian diplomatic relations and then he would visit the Russian Spiritual and Cultural Center.
It may be mentioned that Putin is the first head of state to visit France since the May 7 presidential election and Emmanuel Macron won the election.
“Syrian war would also be on agenda during their meeting”, said Russian media.
