Iranian armed forces fully prepared to confront any possible threats: Commander

TEHRAN: A senior Iranian commander said on Thursday that the armed forces of the Islamic Republic are fully prepared to give a crushing response to enemies possible threats, Iranian media reported.

In his address to a local gathering in the country’s southeastern province of Kerman on Thursday, the commander of the Iranian armyˈs ground forces brigadier General Ahmad-Reza Pourdastan stressed that army is fully prepared both in terms of forces and equipmentˈ to confront any possible threats.

The commander also emphasized on the significance of maintaining and further strengthening of armyˈs combat force.
