Baku, Azerbaijan: International Army Games-2019 will be held in 10 countries which would start on August 3.

Games would be held in Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, China, Iran Mongolia, India, Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Games would be ended on August 17.

According to State Run news Agency—AZERTAC, Azerbaijani servicemen will compete in “Sea Cup” in Azerbaijan, “Tank Biathlon” and “Field Kitchen” in Russia, “Masters of artillery fire” in Kazakhstan, “Sniper Frontier” in Belarus and “Military Medical Relay” in Uzbekistan.

According to Russian Defense Ministry, International Army Games-2019 will spread over 10 countries and will be one of the biggest army games in history.

Russian Defense Ministry says that International Army Games are annual competitions that define the strongest military specialists from Russia and foreign countries in 32 military contests.

More than 6,000 participants are expected to attend games and final stages of the International Army Games 2019 will be held from 3 to 17 August.

According to BelTA News Agency of Belarus, Pakistani military plans to take part in the International Army Games 2019 that will take place in the territory of Belarus

India is hosting games first time in history as it will host Scout Masters Competition as part of the games.

In 2019, it is proposed that the International Army Games will have 32 disciplines.

International Army Games-2019 would be fifth games of its nature as annual International Army Games started to take place first time in August 2015 and 30 countries attended games.

On the sidelines of Bahrain International Airshow, Commander of Ninth Air Force (US Air Forces Central Command — AFCENT), Lieutenant General Derek France called on Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force. The Air Chief reiterated his resolve to further enhance the existing bilateral cooperation between the two strategic partners. Commander AFCENT appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in promoting regional peace and vowed to enhance cooperation in the fields of joint training, mutual exercises and military to military collaboration. In a separate meeting, Chief of the Air Staff also called on Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force.
