Business6th session of Pak-Nepal Joint Economic Commission to be held today

ISLAMABAD: The two-day 6th session of Pakistan-Nepal Joint Economic Commission begins in Islamabad today.

The session to be held after eight years will be co-chaired by Finance Minister‚ Ishaq Dar and his Nepalese counterpart‚ Shankar Parsad Koirala.

The Commission will review the implementation status of the decisions taken in its last session.

Key objectives of the session are to review bilateral trade and improve bilateral relations.

It will also review drafts of Free Trade Agreement and MoU on establishing linkages between Alternate Energy Development Board of Pakistan and Alternate Energy Promotion Center of Nepal.
