The four-day Online South Asian Feminist Film Festival is being organized from November 27-30, 2020 as part of the Celebrations of the South Asian Women’s Day.

The festival aims to bridge and bring our shared, yet diverse identities, issues, and ideologies alive.

Organized by Sangat Network and Kriti Film Club, the festival showcases short films, animation, documentaries, and feature films.

The festival programme includes Online Film Viewing on November 27-30, and the Panel Discussions on November 28 and 30.

The event will feature 29 films, 32 filmmakers, 6 themes, 9 Countries, and 15 languages.

The two Panel Discussions will be held as under;

“Minority and Queer Narratives” on November from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm

With Shazia Iqbal; Jabeen Merchant; Gagandeep Singh; & Anomaa Rajakaruna, and moderated by Vani Subramanian

“What Does It Mean To Be A South Asian Today?” on November 30 from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm

With Lubna Mariam; Salima Hashmi; Sapna Pradhan Malla; Nimalka Fernando; & Miriam Chandy Menacherry, and moderated by Kamla Bhasin
