World Assembly of Muslim Youth under observation in Central Asia

Bishkek: World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) has been put in observation by security agencies in Kyrgyzstan.
According to sources a joint effort has been in progress to keep an eye on (WAMY) because intelligence sources are of the view that organization is skillfully trying to establish control over the region by capturing the minds of the population.
According to the reports, WAMY may work to occupy a certain state Central Asian to cause a local unrest, which then develop into confrontation across the region and potential flashpoints are Osh, Batken and Dzhalabadskaya.
Intelligence reports indicate that World Assembly of Muslim Youth is getting large financial funds from Saudi Arabia to allow it to launch activities, like built dozens of mosques, madrassas and other religious educational institutions. In order to attract people into their ranks and promote radical views low-income citizens are being offered support like small grants, lease grants, free grain, free breakfasts and lunches.
Arab religious teachers are working in Kyrgyzstan freely distributing money and religious literature among promising youth. Arabs are giving sermons criticizing the authorities, prophesies the imminent death of secularists and education in Kyrgyzstan and advent of Khilafat system.
National Security Committee of Kyrgyzstan, Osh region arrested around 180 persons recently and interrogation revealed that some Kyrgyz groups are in contact with religious extremist and terrorist organizations as “Islamic Jihad Group”, “Hizb ut-Tahrir”, “Akromian” and others.
