KOHAT: A woman was hanged last night on charges of running away from her house with her two accomplices after a local Jirga ordered her execution in Kohat.
The sources said that a woman, hailing from Jawaki area of FR Kohat, was residing in Karachi from where she allegedly fled away with a man to Swat hardly after two years of her marriage.
The Karachi police registered a case of kidnapping of the woman and launched a search operation for her safe recovery.
Later, Swat police recovered the woman and handed her over to her heirs.
A Jirga was held last night at Jawaki which ordered to execute the runaway woman, her aunt and a cousin for aiding and abetting in her fleeing from the house.
