Islamabad, Pakistan: During the first hour of launching Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos, Pakistan destroyed Indian Pathan Kot, Sirsa Airfield, Adampur Air Force Station, BrahMos depots at Beas and Nagrota, brigade facilities in Uri, Akhnoor Aviation Base, Bathinda Airfield, Sri Nagar Air Base, and Chandighar Air Force strip. Pakistan announced a ceasefire after mediation by US President Donald Trump around 17.04 hours. The Operation continued for around 11 hours. India-Pakistan talks will be held on May 12, which would include all spheres of issues, including the Kashmir issue, confirmed sources. UAE has also offered both the countries to host talks to shun off tension between the two nuclear-armed nations.
Operation Bunyan-um Marsoos (Solid-Cemented Structure” or “Iron Wall”) is the code-name given by the Pakistan Army to a large-scale retaliatory strike launched in the early hours of 10 May 2025 against a series of Indian military targets during the 2025 India–Pakistan strikes.
Pakistan and India have agreed to a ceasefire with immediate effect. Pakistan has always strived for peace and security in the region, without compromising on its sovereignty and territorial integrity!

Bunyanun Marsoos are the Holy words of Quran Ayah. The Operation was launched by the COAS, Gen. Asim Munir, just after Fajr Prayer and with the recitation of the Quran by him.
The Arabic phrase bunyan marṣūṣ appears in the Quran, praising believers “as though they are a wall forged of molten lead.”
On 10 May 2025, India carried out predawn missile and drone strikes on three Pakistani air bases, Nur Khan, Murid, and Shorkot, as well as on targets in Afghanistan. Pakistan military spokesperson Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry appeared on television and said that India again attacked Pakistan and now Pakistan had launched Operation Bunyan-un Marsoos with a salvo of Fatah-II ballistic missiles and armed drones.
Independent outlets reported strikes on the Pathankot and Udhampur airfields, Adampur Air Force Station, where an S-400 battery was allegedly destroyed, BrahMos depots at Beas and Nagrota, and brigade facilities in Uri and Rajouri. The strikes on the Adampur S-400 Unit in Jalandhar were reportedly carried out by PAF JF-17 fighter jets using hypersonic missiles, in what was dubbed as precision strikes aimed at neutralizing one of India’s most sophisticated air defence equipment.
Pakistani cyber-units simultaneously disabled power grid stations in northern India. However, as per the joint statement by the Ministry of External Affairs (India) and the Ministry of Defence (India), there had been no damage done to the Indian power grid. Indian authorities acknowledged “high-speed missile attacks” on multiple bases but said most incoming munitions were intercepted, with “limited damage” on the ground. Indian forces have also stated that the S-400 battery was not struck and is still in operation.
