Islamabad, Pakistan: National Weather Forecasting Centre Islamabad has predicted heavy thunderstorm with rain from Sunday in KPK, Gilgit Baltistan and upper parts of Punjab.

Westerly Wave (Westerly weather disturbance) is entering to Pakistan on Sunday and can cause heavy dust and thunderstorm with rain from Sunday to Wednesday.
According to National Weather Forecasting Centre Islamabad, westerly wave is likely to enter in Pakistan on Sunday and likely to grip upper and central parts of the country on Monday and may persist in upper parts till Wednesday. Under the influence of this westerly wave, the following weather is expected.

National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has indicated its team to follow the situation as rain wind-thunderstorm (few moderate to isolated heavy falls with hailstorm) is expected with intervals in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Chakwal, Attock, Mianwali, Sargodha, Bhakkar, Layyah, Khushab, M.B.Din, Hafizabad, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Sialkot, Narowal, Sheikhupura, Lahore, Kasur, Faisalabad, Jhang, T.T.Singh), Islamabad, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan from Sunday to Wednesday.
Dust-thunderstorm with rain is also expected in Quetta, Zhob, Barkhan, Kohlu, Loralai, D.G.Khan, Rajanpur, Multan, Khanewal, Sahiwal, Okara, R.Y.Khan, Bahawalnagar, Bahawalpur, Sukkur, Larkana, Jacobabad, Shaheed Benazirabad during Sunday(night) to Tuesday.
Farmers are advised to take precautionary measures for Wheat harvesting during the forecast period

The medal was awarded to Air Chief in recognition of his distinguished efforts to enhance military cooperation and defence collaboration between the two brotherly countries. The ceremony was witnessed by senior civil and military leadership of Kingdom of Bahrain. His Royal Highnes conveyed his heartfelt acknowledgement to Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu for the participation of Pakistan Air Force contingent comprising JF-17 Block-III fighter jets alongside air and ground crew in the Bahrain International Airshow. Chief of the Air Staff expressed his gratitude for the honour of receiving the Bahrain Medal - First Class. On the sidelines of Bahrain International Airshow, Commander of Ninth Air Force (US Air Forces Central Command — AFCENT), Lieutenant General Derek France called on Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, Chief of the Air Staff, Pakistan Air Force. The Air Chief reiterated his resolve to further enhance the existing bilateral cooperation between the two strategic partners. Commander AFCENT appreciated Pakistan’s efforts in promoting regional peace and vowed to enhance cooperation in the fields of joint training, mutual exercises and military to military collaboration. In a separate meeting, Chief of the Air Staff also called on Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force.
