NationalWar is not in anybody's interest: Pakistan army

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan army has said that the war is not in anybody’s interest; however, the country’s armed forces are fully prepared to respond any aggression.

Taking to media persons in Baghsar area of Azad Kashmir on Saturday, the Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Asim Saleem Bajwa said that Pakistani troops have given befitting response to Indian firing on the line of control (LoC).

Earlier in the morning, Indian forces once again resorted to unprovoked firing and shelling across the LoC at Chamb sector in Bhimber, prompting Pakistan army to give a befitting response to silence the Indian guns.

The DG ISPR said that we are sure that the Indian side would have suffered causalities but it is hiding details in this regard.

Bajwa once again rejected as false and concocted the Indian claim of surgical strikes within Pakistani territory.
