Vlektra Electric Bikes

Evee Electric recently announced the availability of a Pakistan-Made electric scooter in Pakistan. Following that announcement, Vlektra, Pakistan’s first electric lithium-based motorcycle company, is producing Premium Vlektra Electric bikes. According to the reports, the company has started its production with a capacity of 30,000 units per year.

The arrival of Vlektra Electric Bikes will be a relief for the inflation-stricken public of Pakistan. The sky-scrapping fuel prices and ever-increasing prices of motorbikes in Pakistan make it difficult for buyers to afford them. Although the Pakistani vehicle market is dominated by fuel-powered bikes, the shift towards electric bikes will be gradual. However, companies like Vlektra and Evee electric are making the process easier.

Vlektra Electric Bikes Potential in Pakistan

The price increase of bikes and fuel in the country is making it a potential success in the future. To make Vlektra Electric Bikes a tough competition, the company has moved from the conventional bike’s framework and incorporated a sporty look to make it more attractive. Therefore, the buyers can get cost-efficiency as well as style at the same time so buyers do not compromise on anything.

Vlektra has two options in its E-bikes lineup: Bolt and Retro.

Bolt

Vlektra Electric Bikes

Bolt is an all-electric sport-looking motorbike by the company. It has a 2000-watt electric motor with a lithium-ion battery pack. It provides a satisfactory driving range of 80 kilometres on a full charge within 4 hours. Bolt can reach a top speed of 75 km/h. This bike can get from 0-60 kph within 4 seconds.

It is equipped with multiple modern features like a digital speedometer, ABS and CBS technology, sporty mono-shock rear suspension, DRLs, front and disc brakes, LED headlights and taillights, and much more. All of this comes at the price of PKR 449,000 exclusive of delivery charges.

Retro

Vlektra is ready to bring the mixture of retro with a modern electric touch in form of its upcoming Retro crossover bike. It is more functional for everyday use than Bolt because of being lightweight and smart. Retro has a 1500-watt electric motor with a lithium-ion battery pack.

The driving range is similar to Bolt which is 80 kilometres on full-charge. It also reaches from 0-60 in just 4.5 seconds. Retro includes features like a digital information cluster, front and rear disc brakes with ABS and CBS technology, adjustable front, and rear shock absorbers, DRLs, LED headlights, taillights, etc. It comes with a price tag of PKR 299,000 without the delivery charges.

Retro 1969

For those who love both Vlektra electric bikes,  Retro and Bolt, Retro 1969 is a blend of both. This bike offers the buyers Bolt’s powerful performance and Retro style. It has similar performance features to Bolt like a driving range of 80 kilometres on a full charge within 4-5 hours and a top speed of 75 kph. This, like the other two, can go up to 0-60 kph in just 4 seconds.

Its features include a digital information cluster, front and rear disc brakes with ABS and CBS technology, adjustable front, and rear shock absorbers, DRLs, LED headlights, taillights, etc.

These electric bikes are going to give tough competition to the fuel-powered bikes in Pakistan like Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, Road Prince, United, and others. Although they are pricey they will offer better style, performance and fuel efficiency. However, the long-term practicality can not be determined yet as it is a new development.
