Life and StyleValentine’s Day 2020 events in Islamabad & Rawalpindi

The Romantic Couples throughout the year await Valentine’s Day to celebrate their love and passion for each other in a more special and enthusiastic manner. Though widely deemed as an anti-Islamic practice and western-oriented, Valentine’s Day is not welcomed in Pakistan unlike many other Countries wherein its advent on February 14 every year is fully cherished and special events are organized to mark the day.

Yet Valentine’s Day doesn’t get neglected at all in Pakistan and its celebrations are encouraged especially in western-inspired and financially well-off modern families. Just like the western world, special live music concerts, couple gatherings, and dinner buffets are also organized in major cities of Pakistan.

Though as aforementioned Valentine’s Day for its supposedly anti-Islamic nature is overlooked in Pakistan but yet following the steps of modern societies, even some youth hailing from religious or middle-class backgrounds also manage to celebrate it as per their capacities. The couples exchange gifts in the shape of flower bouquets, cards, or chocolates, etc.

Meanwhile, well-off families or couples also attend live music concerts and have romantic dinners to make their day very special.
