Tourism is the largest industry in the world and Countries want to collect more capital through this industry so they are attracting more and more tourists.

Uzbekistan is a very attractive and Islamic civilization for tourists. It is rich in cultural heritage. The first priority of the present government is the promotion of foreign investment and tourism, for which comprehensive planning is well underway.

Whether it’s Tashkent, Ferghana, Bukhara, Samarkand, or any other city, the Uzbek Embassy in Britain seizes every opportunity to promote tourism in Uzbekistan.

With a shared sense of responsibility, an event was held at the Uzbek Embassy in London to promote tourism in Karakalpakstan.

While Sophie Ibbotson, Uzbekistan’s Tourism Ambassador to Britain, expresses gratitude to event attendees, emphasizing the significance of Karakalpakstan’s civilization, culture, and history. she further said… 

Joining online from Nukus, the Capital of Karakalpakstan, the former Director of the Savitksy Museum, the world-famous gallery of Karakalpakstan, Gulbahor Izentaeva, told about the historical importance of Karakalpakstan and the tourist spots there. She said… 

Later on, OKS Tours briefly shared their perspective as a local tour operator in Nukus. The representative of OKS Tours highlighted the services provided by their organisation……. 

All the speakers urged the audience to go to Karakalpakstan and see this beautiful region with their own eyes.

People from all walks of life participated in the event. As the event concluded, the Embassy treated attendees to the national dish of Uzbekistan, “Plov,” alongside a delightful selection of culinary delights.

The commendable efforts of Uzbek Ambassador Said Rustamov, the Cultural Attaché Islam Orifjonov and the Second Secretary Davron ALIAKBAROV should be recognized as they play a leading role in promoting tourism for the Country.
