US Senator appreciates Pakistan's efforts to address terrorism

WASHINGTON: The US Senator Tim Kaine, member of Senate foreign relations and armed services committees, has appreciated Pakistan’s efforts to address terrorism, and assured of US support for peace and stability in the region.

The assurance was given by the US Senator in a meeting with the Pakistan’s ambassador to the United States Jalil Abbas Jilani in Washington.

The ambassador Jilani briefed Senator Kaine about the recent developments in bilateral relationship and discussed cooperation in diverse sectors including economy trade, defence, security and counter-terrorism.
