Unknown gunmen kill policemen assigned polio team security in DI Khan

PESHAWAR: Unknown gunmen killed two policemen who were assigned to provide security to a polio vaccination team working in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Dera Ismail Khan district on Tuesday.

The sources said that the policemen were returning to their homes after performing their duties when they were targeted by unknown gunmen in Garo Ahmed area of Dera Ismail Khan.

Their bodies were shifted to a hospital for post-mortem, while police began an investigation into the incident.
