Monitoring Desk: The investigation to a suicide bomber who was arrested on August 11, 2025 revealed horrific information that terrorists are not in mountains rather in educational institutions such as university.
A university lecturer Dr Usman Qazi from Balochistan was secretly plotting in coordination with BLA the bloodiest attack on Pakistan’s this Independence Day.
On August 11 in Quetta, a suicide bomber was arrested by intelligence agencies, and his information led to the arrest of Dr. Usman Qazi of BUITEMS, who was working with BLA’s Majeed Brigade. During interrogation, Dr Usman confessed to facilitating the November 9, 2024, Quetta railway station attack and preparing dozens of bombers for 14 August bomb blasts which were foiled by timely action by intelligence agencies and Pakistan was saved from a major catastrophe. Dr Usman provided active facilitation to suicide bomber Rafiq Bizanjo who blasted himself during suicide attack in November 2024 Quetta Railway Station attack. Before that in April/ May 2024, Dr Usman also kept injured BLA terrorist Bohair in his home where he provided him medical treatment through an unknown doctor.
On 12 August, intelligence agencies had uncovered the full plot. As per the BLA plot, 32 suicide bombers and were ready to strike Quetta and other cities during Independence Day celebrations. The plan was to turn a day of national pride into a day of mourning.
Disguised as a teacher, Dr Usman, instead of teaching he was handing terrorists and also had a suicide vest himself. Pakistan’s security forces foiled the conspiracy in time, saving hundreds and thousands of lives.
The people of Balochistan must now decide whether to stand with the state and future or with men like this terrorist hidden as professor, who betrayed his sacred profession to spread death.
Official sources believe that BLA and its facilitators some of which are disguised as teachers, doctors, human right activists such as like Mahrang and Dr Usman and Noman operate in full synchronisation and coordination and when the intelligence agencies and security forces arrest them beforehand to prevent terrorist attacks, their inland and overseas masters start crying and play the human rights and missing persons card by luring the innocent people.
