LAHORE, Pakistan: The Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has announced double salaries for all the staff members working in the COVID19 Testing Lab.

In his remarks, while talking to the Punjab Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid and the Molecular Biologist of Punjab’s Main COVID-19 Testing Lab Andleeb Hanif in Lahore on Saturday, Usman Buzdar said that along with the frontline workers, the staff members working in the COVID-19 Testing Lab 24 hours will also receive double salaries every month.

Usman Buzdar appreciated the efforts of Andleeb Hanif and other staff members in the testing lab. He also presented an appreciation certificate and a cheque worth Rs 100,000 to her.

The Chief Minister said that he truly respects the endeavors by the staff engaged in the lab. He said that these are testing times, and asked them to continue to perform their duties with full dedication.

The Chief Minister also stressed the importance of working on research and development. He assured the government’s all-out support to carry out the research work.
