ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The registration of the people over 50 years of age for the COVID-19 vaccination will be opened on March 30, the Federal Minister for Planning, Development & Special Initiatives and the Chairman National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) Asad Umar said.

In a statement on Twitter on Friday, Asad Umar said that the registration of those people who are 60 years of age and above has already been opened.

The minister asked the people to encourage everybody who is above 50 years of age to register himself/herself when the registration for the COVID-19 vaccination is opened for them on March 30, 2021.

Earlier, the vaccination of the people aged 60 years or above against COVID-19 started across Pakistan on March 10.

Meanwhile, 63 more people died of Coronavirus while 4,368 new Cases were registered across the Country in the last 24 hours.

To date, a total of 645,356 Coronavirus Cases and 14,091 deaths have been recorded in the Country since the outset.

Out of those infected people, 591,145 have recovered now from the disease while 40,120 are still battling with it.
