ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Coronavirus took 63 more lives across Pakistan on February 1, taking the total death toll to 11,746.

Out of those 63 new deaths, 46 were recorded in Punjab, 8 in Sindh, 6 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 2 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), and 1 in Balochistan.

With fresh fatalities, now the number of total COVID deaths in Punjab has reached 4,793, in Sindh 4,004, in KPK 1,912, in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) 475, in AJK 264, in Balochistan, 196, and in Gilgit-Baltistan 102.

In addition to new deaths, 1,220 more people among 38,813 tested for Coronavirus on February 1 were found positive.

Now the total Coronavirus detected throughout the Country has surged to 547,648. Among them, 247,727 Cases were registered in Sindh, 158,220 in Punjab, 67,419 in KPK, 41,493 in ICT, 18,830 in Balochistan, 9,050 in AJK, and 4,909 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

However, a total of 502,537 people have recovered now from the infection in Pakistan.

Whereas the total active COVID Cases in Pakistan as of February 2 are 33,365.
