ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: More than 280,000 youth including 6,567 females have enrolled themselves into the Prime Minister’s Corona Relief Tigers Force through Pakistan Citizen Portal by now, the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Youth Affairs Usman Dar said on Thursday.
In a statement, Usman Dr said that the willingness by the youth in huge numbers to serve the Country as volunteers when the deadly Coronavirus (COVID-19) has endangered all lives is a testimony of the fact how passionate they are to assist the incumbent government under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan in the fight against the infectious disease.
Usman Dar said that we will tackle the ongoing ordeal with courage and determination, and will emerge as a great nation.
The registration process of the ‘Corona Relief Tigers Force’ was set to begin on March 31 enabling the youth to offer their services as volunteers in the relief activities across the Country; however, it took many hours before the digital registration form was uploaded in the Citizen Portal.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on Media Dr Shahbaz Gill shared the data on Twitter, which says that as of now, 280,099 youth including 6,567 females have registered with the force.
The data reveals that 202,673 youth including 197,406 males and 5,097 females have enrolled themselves into the Corona Relief Tigers Force from Punjab, 36,746 youth including 35,767 males and 951 females from Sindh, 31,014 youth including 30,698 and 281 females from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and 4,215 youth including 4,068 males and 144 females from the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).
Similarly, 2,694 youth including 2,630 males and 62 females from Azad Jammu and Kashmir have applied to join the force, 1,998 youth including 1,974 males and 24 females from Balochistan, and 759 youth including 751 males and 8 females from Gilgit-Baltistan.
