ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The NCOC Session was chaired by the Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar and co-chaired by the National Coordinator Major General Zafar Iqbal in Islamabad on Wednesday morning.

The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) directed all stakeholders to beef up vaccination outreach measures after the Measles Rubella (MR) Campaign for maximum inoculation of the eligible population.

The forum took detailed stock of epidemic curve chart data, and national vaccine strategy.

The forum directed all federating units to make preparations for a massive vaccination campaign outreach.

The forum was informed that proper call centers and chatbot would be created to reach eligible people for COVID vaccination.

Meanwhile, 10 more people succumbed to COVID-19 and 270 further people tested positive in the last 24 hours.
