Meanwhile, the District Health Officer (DHO) Islamabad Zaeem Zia has urged people over 65 years of age to visit their nearest COVID-19 Vaccination Centres and get themselves vaccinated.
Zaeem Zia said that they have ample capacity and COVID-19 doses at the Vaccination Centres.

Earlier on April 2, 796 new Coronavirus Cases emerged in the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).
According to the DHO Islamabad, 7,491 tests were conducted in the ICT on April 2 to ascertain the virus, and 796 of them returned positive, recording a positivity ratio of 11%.
Additionally, two COVID-19 patients succumbed to the disease in the Federal Capital in the last 24 hours.

To date, 60,197 Coronavirus Cases and 574 deaths have been registered in the ICT since the beginning.
