LAHORE, Pakistan: The Punjab government will begin disbursement of Rs 12,000 to 2.5 million deserving people across the province from Monday under the Punjab Chief Minister’s Insaf Imdad Programme.

The Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar will inaugurate the disbursement process at Nankana Sahib.

The deserving people enrolled themselves for the financial assistance by sending an SMS on 8070.

Their scrutiny was ensured jointly by the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), and the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA).

Besides, the successful applicants can receive the amount by visiting the designated branches of Habib Bank Limited (HBL) Konnect. The financial assistance could also be withdrawn from the HBL ATMs after verification of thumb impression. In case of any complaints, the PDMA can be reached at 042-99204408, 042-99206318, and 0317-8371900 or register the complaint through the helpline number 1129.
