ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Prime Minister’s Special Assistant on National Health Dr. Faisal Sultan has said that neither there are any side effects of the COVID-19 vaccine nor there is any shortage of vaccine.

While addressing media in Islamabad on Tuesday, Dr. Faisal Sultan rejected the speculations regarding the non-availability of the Sinopharm vaccine in the Country.

The special assistant said that the vaccination campaign will continue without any break. He said that the people are encouraged to vaccinate themselves on a priority basis to get rid of Corona risks.

Dr. Faisal Sultan further said that strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) is imperative for countering the third wave of COVID-19.

The special assistant said that according to the latest figures, due to effective implementations of SOPs, a decline in Corona cases has been recorded. He said that efforts of the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) in this regard are appreciable.
