The registration process of the ‘Corona Relief Tigers Force’ has begun through the Pakistan Citizen Portal, enabling the youth from across the country to participate in the relief operation as volunteers for the affectees of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic.

The youth over the age of 18 and affiliated with any profession are deemed eligible to enroll himself/herself as a volunteer for the force.

The digital form for the registration has been uploaded in the Citizen Portal.

The registration form will seek details of an aspirant’s name, address, age, mobile number, Union Council (UC) & District.

The registration process will end by April 10, 2020.

All the aspirants will require to create an account in the Citizen Portal and fill the registration form.

In his televised address to the nation on Monday night, Prime Minister Imran Khan spelled out the details of how the Corona Relief Tigers Force’ will operate through the Country and assist the administration and Pakistan army in COVID-19 relief activities.

The prime minister said that the volunteers of the tiger force will help deliver food to areas under lockdown besides disseminating awareness to the public about the social distancing and significance of precautions measures to avert the disease.

The force will also ensure that the infected patients isolated at Quarantined Centers are well looked after and they don’t suffer any inconveniences.

Imran Khan said that a Cell is working at the Prime Minister’s Office in Islamabad round the clock to monitor the situation closely.

Meanwhile, the Prime Minister’s Special Advisor for Youth Affairs Usman Dar has been assigned the task of supervising the Relief Tigers Force.
