ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) has so far recorded 235 Coronavirus (COVID-19) Cases while Bhara Kahu has been the worst affected area with 28 Cases, according to the Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Hamza Shafqaat.
As per the detail shared by the Deputy Commissioner Islamabad late Sunday, a total of 1,493 people remain suspected of having the Coronavirus in the ICT while 4,651 people have been tested negative.
The data has revealed that to date, 235 people in the Federal Capital have been tested positive, 29 have recovered whereas 3 couldn’t survive.
It has further stated that Bhara Kahu and Tarlai with 28 patients each stand atop in terms of highest number of COVID-19 Cases followed by I-10 Sector wherein 21 Cases have been detected.
However, Bhara Kahu has also the highest number of recoveries which are 11 while 5 recoveries occurred in Shahzad Town.
The persons between the age of 30-39 have been worst hit by the Coronavirus as 61 patients belong to this age group. The second most affected age group is 40-49 with 44 Cases.
The occupation wise distribution data has revealed that in the ICT, 43 house wives have been infected by the virus, the highest ratio among all occupations followed by health staff and students with 33 Cases each.
There are 16 quarantine facilities having been established in the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) with 811 beds. In these facilities, 2,589 people have so far been screened and discharged.
