ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Further 110 COVID-19 patients breathed their last across Pakistan on April 15, taking the death toll to 15,982, the statistics released by the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) on Friday morning showed.

Out of the latest fatalities, 62 occurred in Punjab, 35 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 8 in Sindh, 3 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), and 1 each in Islamabad Capital Territory and Balochistan.

The statistics further showed that 64,481 COVID tests were performed across the Country on April 15, and 5,364 of them returned positive with a ratio of 8.31%.

To date, a total of 15,982 patients have died of Coronavirus in the Country including 7,271 in Punjab, 4,541 in Sindh, 2,796 in KPK, 626 in ICT, 423 in AJK, 222 in Balochistan, and 103 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Similarly, the Country has so far registered 745,182 Coronavirus Cases.

Out of them, 270,963 have been reported in Sindh, 261,173 in Punjab, 103,419 in KPK, 68,665 in ICT, 20,662 in Balochistan, 15,137 in AJK, and 5,163 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

As per the NCOC’s statistics, 650,775 COVID-19 patients have so far recovered across Pakistan making it a significant count.

As of April 16, 78,425 patients are under treatment across the Country and 4,302 of them are in critical condition.
