Monitoring Desk: Coronavirus pandemic is at a constant decline in Ukraine and mortality and morbidity fall for the second day in a row, reports Ukrainian News Agency.
On July 26, the number of detected cases of coronavirus infection COVID-19 in Ukraine increased by 807 to 65 656, the number of deaths from the disease – by 11 people to 1,616 compared to the previous days, while the number of new cases decreased by 12.3% while death rate decreased by 26.7%.
This is stated in the message of the National Security and Defense Council.
According to him, as of the morning of July 27, 65,656 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 were registered in Ukraine, of which 1,616 were lethal, 36,122 patients recovered.
During the day, 807 new cases were recorded, 315 people recovered, 11 people died.
Thus, on July 26, the rate of new cases per day was more than those who recovered – 807 versus 315.
The number of new cases on July 26 was 1.2% of the total number of cases on July 25.
The number of active patients (sick without taking into account those who recovered and died) on the morning of July 27 was 27,918 people, which is 1.8% more than in the previous days.
Over the entire period of the epidemic, most cases of infection were recorded in the Lviv region (8 952), in Kiev (7 690) and the Rivne region (5 701).
In the Chernivtsi region, 5,634 cases of coronavirus infection were recorded, in the Transcarpathian – 4,874 cases, in Ivano-Frankivsk – 4,121, in the Volynsk – 3,616, in the Kiev – 3,548, in the Kharkiv – 3,431, in the Odessa – 2,960, in Ternopil – 2 773, in Vinnitsa – 2,589, in Zhytomyr – 1,723, in Dnepropetrovsk – 1,330, in Khmelnytsky – 1,059 cases.
As many as 902 cases were detected in Cherkasy region, 850 cases – in Donetsk region, 750 cases – in Zaporozhye region, 720 cases – in Chernigov region, 695 cases – in Kirovograd region, 559 cases – in Nikolaev region, 445 cases – in Sumy region, 394 cases – in Poltava region, 220 cases – in Kherson and 120 cases – in Luhansk regions.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the number of ambulance doctors with coronavirus in Berdyansk has doubled.
Earlier in Odessa, the ambulance substation was quarantined. Three employees were found to have a coronavirus.
