ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Central Vice President and Administrator of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Central Secretariat Zahid Hussain Kazmi has lauded Prime Minister Imran Khan for the announcement of special economic relief package amid Coronavirus outbreak.

Zahid Hussain Kazmi welcomed the special economic relief package and termed a very appropriate and timely move at this critical time. He appealed the people of Pakistan to become a part of the government’s efforts against stopping the Coronavirus.

In a statement issued by the Central Media Department, Kazmi said that the announcement of an unprecedented Rs 1200 billion relief package is the clear manifestation that the incumbent government is a true public representative that stood by its people in trying time.

He said that a natural disaster in the shape of Corona has done extraordinary damage to the world’s major economies, while its impact on developing countries could be far more devastating.

He said that the PTI government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, had not only faced the calamity efficiently but also mobilized the people and resources for combating it effectively.

Kazmi further said that the spread of Corona in Pakistan has had serious implications on the business community, for which the federal government took timely action and prepared a historical economic package of Rs 12 billion which will give relief directly to the poor and the working class affected by Corona.

Kazmi said that no government can succeed against Corona without unity and discipline and he urged the whole nation to stay united and face this problem bravely.

He further said that the economic package announced by the prime minister would support the domestic economy and help safeguard the local economy against the adverse impacts on the economy.

He expressed hope that under the able leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan, Inshah Allah we would soon pass this test.

He urged the people to take the precautionary measures told by the government and adopt the social distancing practices by staying at their homes voluntarily for success in controlling Coronavirus.

Kazmi prayed for the quick and complete recovery of the patients of Coronavirus and prayed that May God protect not only Pakistan but whole humanity from this deadly disease.
