ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Interior Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad on Thursday visited Police Lines Headquarters in Islamabad wherein he launched the “Tasdeeq Application” for the Online Registration of Tenants and Servants.
Citizens can now verify their Tenants and Servants at home without going to the Police Station.
Earlier upon his arrival, the Interior Minister laid a floral wreath at the Martyrs’ Monument and offered Fateha.
The Inspector General (IG) of Islamabad Police Muhammad Amir Zulfiqar Khan briefed the minister about the institution.

Later, Sheikh Rasheed also talked to media and said that police is playing a pivotal role for peace and security in the Country.
The Interior Minister said that steps are being taken for the capacity building of Islamabad Police.
The Minister said that several projects including the setting up of a forensic lab in Islamabad are under consideration. He said that efforts are afoot to make Islamabad a Safe City of Pakistan.
