ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Further 52 patients battling with Coronavirus succumbed to the disease on March 4 across Pakistan; thus, now the death toll has mounted to 13,128.

The data updated by the National Command & Operation Centre (NCOC) on Friday morning revealed that in the last 24 hours, 30 COVID-19 patients died in Punjab, 17 in Sindh, 3 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), and 1 each in Islamabad and Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).

With fresh fatalities, now the total number of deaths recorded in Punjab has reached 5,510, 4,405 in Sindh, 2,099 in KPK, 504 in Islamabad, 308 in AJK, 200 in Balochistan, and 102 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

The NCOC data further showed that 37,998 COVID tests were conducted throughout the Country on March 4, which found 1,579 people positive.

In total, 587,014 Coronavirus Cases have so far been detected in the Country.

Of them, 259,164 Cases have been registered in Sindh, 175,051 in Punjab, 73,258 in KPK, 45,078 in Islamabad, 19,097 in Balochistan, 10,409 in AJK, and 4,957 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

As of now, 556,769 people have been recovered from the disease in Pakistan while 17,117 are still under treatment.
