The United Arab Emirates (UAE) enjoys excellent bilateral relations with France in all spheres including political, economic, and defence.
In June 2020, the two Countries built an ambitious 10-year bilateral roadmap of the UAE-France Strategic Partnership (2020-2030), further broadening the spectrum of their bilateral cooperation on a range of issues.
In the Middle East, the UAE remains to be one of France’s key trading partners.
Annually, France exports goods worth approximately US$ 4 billion to the UAE, and at present more than 600 French businesses are operating across the Emirates.
