ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Ambassador of United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Pakistan H.E. Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Al-Zaabi visited the Naval Headquarters in Islamabad on Tuesday and held a meeting with the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi.

In the meeting, both the dignitaries discussed matters of mutual interest, Pakistan-UAE bilateral relations, and maritime security in the region.

   

Meanwhile, the Afghan Ambassador to Pakistan Najibullah Alikhil met the Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Pir Noor-ul-Haq Qadri in Islamabad.

Talking to the Afghan envoy, the minister said that Pakistan will continue extending every possible support for the reconstruction and development of Afghanistan.

The religious affairs minister said that peace in Afghanistan guarantees durable progress and prosperity of the entire region.
