Islamabad, Pakistan: On 24 September 2022, an improvised explosive device exploded in general area Esham, North Waziristan District. Resultantly, Naib Subedar Javed Iqbal (age 42 years, resident of Attock) and Naik Hussain Ahmed (age 38 years, resident of Okara) embraced shahadat.
Clearance of the area is being carried out to eliminate any terrorists in the area.
It may be mentioned that on night 22/ 23 September, Security Forces conducted an Intelligence Based Operation over suspected presence of a high profile terrorist in general area Charbagh, Swat District. During encounter, the terrorist got killed. Weapon and ammunition was also recovered from the killed terrorist.
The killed terrorist remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces.
