Two killed, several injured in Peshawar blast

PESHAWAR: An explosion occurred in Chamkani area of Peshawar on Tuesday evening, killing at least two persons and injuring several others.

The sources said that the bomb was planted on a rickshaw parked near a police check post at Phandoo Chowk in Chamkani area of Peshawar which exploded.

The blast destroyed the rickshaw and one motorbike completely, whereas several neighboring outlets and vehicles were also damaged.



The dead and injured were shifted to a nearby hospital, while the police cordoning off the area and started an investigation into the incident.
