KARACHI: Two back-to-back explosions occurred on Manghopir road in Kati Pahari area of Karachi’s North Nazimabad on Saturday that left a policeman killed and eight others injured which include police and Rangers personnel.

The first blast took place when unknown men riding a motorbike hurled a hand grenade on a Rangers check post on Manghopir road, while the second blast occurred as police and Rangers personnel arrived at the site of the explosion.

The injured were shifted to Abbasi Shahid Hospital for treatment.
