PESHAWAR, Pakistan: Two proclaimed offenders were killed while an assistant sub-inspector embraced martyrdom in exchange of fire between the police and the criminals in the jurisdiction of Mandani police station in Charsadda on Saturday morning.

According to an official of the Police Control Charsadda, the police were on routine patrolling when some proclaimed offenders started firing on the police party and martyred an assistant sub-inspector Khan Wali of Police Station Mandani on the spot.

   

The police retaliated the fire and killed two absconders named Imtiaz and Iftikhar, real brother s/o Muhammad Nabi, residence of Salmay Shakoor village, Mandani, District Chartsadda.

Soon after the incident more police contingent rush on the spot and cordoned off the area by starting search operation.

Later on, the namaz-e-janaza of martyred assistant sub-inspector Khan Wali was offered with DPO Fakre Khalid and DIG Charsadda Alam Shinwari along with people from different walk of life participated.

The body of Shaheed Sub-Inspector Khan Wali was brought to Shabqadar, his native village, and was laid to rest with full honor.
