Monitoring Desk: US President Donald Trump on Tuesday while meeting leaders from the Arab and Muslim world on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York City categorically informed participants that US stands and shall stand with Israel on its war against Hamas in Gaza.
According to available information all heads of Islamic states expressed their concerns over genocide in Gaza being done by Israel but President Trump rejected their claims and concerns stating that war will be over in Gaza once Hamas shall be eliminated.
After the meeting President Trump told reporters “we’re going to see if we can do something about ending the Gaza war”. We want to stop that. We want to get our hostages back, or their hostages back”. His comments confirmed that President Trump is more interested in hostage issues then of killing of over 80,000 Palestinians including women and children.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan described the meeting with Trump as “very fruitful.” President Erdogan said a joint declaration from the meeting would be published and that he was “pleased” with the outcomes of the meeting.
Emirati state news agency WAM meanwhile reported that the meeting focused on ending the ongoing war in Gaza and reaching a permanent ceasefire. The news agency said releasing all hostages and taking steps toward addressing the worsening humanitarian crisis in the war-torn enclave were also discussed as priorities.
