Tribal elders assure support in fight against terrorism

PESHAWAR: A grand jirga of the elders of various tribes of Mamond tehsil in Bajaur agency was held at Sevai to check movement of suspected militants in the area.

During the jirga, tribal elders and members of peace committees of Mamond tribe assured their full support to the security forces to fight against the menace of terrorism.

The tribal elders also decided to expend anti-militants activities to the border areas in the region. They strongly condemned the recent cross border attacks at various areas in Mamond agency.
