Islamabad, Pakistan: Capital Administration has released traffic diversion for Faizabad Rally of Tehreek-i-Labaik Ya Rasool Allah for Friday.

Rawalpindi-Islamabad connection will be suspended on Islamabad Expressway and traffic will have to go to Airport from Karal Chock and then from Rawal Road it will come on 9th Avenue. Traffic will also disrupt near Radio Pakistan inside the city. Constitutional Avenue will be disconnected from Jinnah Avenue and Jinnah Avenue will be closed down near Kalsoom Plaza towards F-10.

Entire load of traffic from Rawalpindi to Islamabad is diverted to 9th Avenue therefore traffic jams will be seen at G-9, G-10, F-10 and G-11 roads.

Commuters are advised not to travel without reason on Friday to Rawalpindi from Islamabad and from Rawalpindi to Islamabad.

Tehreek-i-Labaik Ya Rasool Allah supporters chocked twin cities on Thursday and will hold a rally on Friday.

The routine life seemed almost paralysed as people were unable to reach their respective destinations whether they were in the Federal Capital or in Rawalpindi. Worst sufferers among them were patients, students and employees working in public and private sector departments. Metro Bus service was operating from Saddar terminal to Faiz Ahmed Faiz station only.

Ambulances remained stuck up in traffic jams and had to find alternate routes to hospitals, attendance in educational institutions and offices was thin as majority returned back to their homes after spending hours in the mess.
