BAHAWALPUR, Pakistan: Two Vintage and Classic Car Rallies are being organized from Karachi to Swat and Khyber to Karachi respectively to promote soft image of Pakistan.

During their trip, both Vintage Car Rallies will move through Bahawalpur wherein a Car Show will also be organized.

The Rallies are being organized by the Vintage and Classic Car Club of Pakistan (VCCCP) formed in 1986 with the main objective to provide a common platform for classic car enthusiasts in Pakistan for the pursuit of their passion.

The Vintage and Classic Car Rally from Karachi to Swat arrived at Bahawalpur on November 14 wherein it would stay till November 16, 2019 while the Rally from Khyber to Karachi will arrive at Bahawalpur on November 26 and depart on November 28.

Earlier last year, the VCCCP Annual Cross Country Rally from Karachi to Khyber was held from December 1 to 9, 2018 in which some 35 to 40 heritage vehicles participated.

The 9th Annual Cross Country Rally by the VCCCP had stopover in Gambat, Rahim Yar Khan, Multan, Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar. Along with it, three Car Shows were also held at the Polo Club in Lahore, the Serena Hotel in Islamabad and the Islamia College in Peshawar.
