ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: “Tour De Khunjrab Promotion Event” will be held at Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA) on Saturday.
‘Tour De Khunjrab Cycle Race’ will take place from May 11-13, 2018, and in which Cyclists from all the four Provinces of Pakistan along with International Cyclists will participate.
The “Tour De Khunjrab” Cycling Promo Session is being hosted by the Gilgit Baltistan Cycling Association. The In-Charge GB House Anwar Jamal Shah will be the Chief Guest in the event.
All Cyclists – along with others including national and international media – from Gilgit Baltistan have been invited to participate in Tour De Khunjrab Promotion Event.
Tour De Khunjerab Cycle Race Schedule:
9th May – Participants start reaching Gilgit City
11th May – Race Starts from Sakwar (Baab-e-Giglit)
12th May – Race Starts again from Rakaposhi View point (Nagar)
13th May – Final Day (From Sost to Khunjerab Top – 15400 ft above sea level)
13th May – Ending ceremony (In Karimabad Hunza)
In a statement, the Chief Secretary Gilgit Baltistan Dr Kazim Niaz underlined the need for taking more measures for promoting extra-curricular activities among youth for their healthy personality development.
The Chief Secretary Gilgit Baltistan also directed concerned officials to take solid measures for successful conduct of Tour De Khunjrab’ in order to promote soft image of the Country.
