ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) is appointing coordinators for tourism in all tourism generating Countries to increase tourists’ influx to Pakistan, an official of the PTDC said.
“We have been appointing Coordinators for Tourism in all tourism generating countries to increase influx of tourists to Pakistan,” an official of PTDC told the state-run news agency.
The official further said that the PTDC has taken various initiatives for improving various productive activities. He said that focal persons are also being appointed in big cities of Pakistan.
“We are also appointing focal persons in big cities of Pakistan who will work as a bridge between tourism departments and tourists,” the official said.
Furthermore, the PTDC official said that on the special directives of the Managing Director PTDC Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor, the PTDC has constituted a vigilance and monitoring committees to improve performance of the department.
The official said that the monitoring committees would directly report to the managing director PTDC.
