ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) would soon establish a restaurant near motorway with modern facilities which would attract a large number of tourists, the Managing Director PTDC Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor said on Tuesday.
“This project would be a unique kind of its construction and on top priority list of PTDC projects for which tourists would be facilitated,” Ghafoor said while talking to the state-run news agency.
The managing director PTDC said that present government is also committed to develop tourism sector an International Hub for business and tourism setting an example for rest of the world.
Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor said that PTDC aimed to fulfil its projects with complete commitment and devotion and to introduce different tourism activities for the enhancement of tourism sector.
Keeping in view the tourists flow this year was 40 percent increased comparatively to previous years it is not difficult to predict that soon Pakistan Northern areas will be a hub of domestic and international tourists, he added.
The managing director PTDC said that the Corporation would also make efforts for participation in the major tourism exhibitions of the world.
Ghafoor expressed hope that PTDC would continue its role for promotion and development of tourism in the Country.
