ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation’s (PTDC) major development projects across the Country would be complete within a year, according to an official.

Talking to the state-run news agency in Islamabad on Monday, an official of the PTDC said that these projects were started from 2008.

“The under construction projects, located in Gwadar, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, Balochistan, Sindh, would help revive tourism sector in the country.”

“The Azad Jammu and Kashmir projects would be completed at a cost of around Rs 25 million while Tourist Facilitation Centre in Gilgit-Baltistan would cost Rs 20 million,” he said.

Moreover, he said “Tourism Facilitation Center at Quetta would be completed at the cost of Rs 20 million.

“Extension in Moenjodaro Motel would be completed at a cost of Rs 15 million,” he said.

The PTDC tourists Facilitation Center at Karachi would be constructed at a cost of Rs 15 million, he added.

He said a sum of Rs 30 million has been allocated for the establishment of Motel at Swat, while TFC/PTDC head office in federal capital would be completed at a cost of Rs 30 million.
