ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Pakistan and Iran will sign a tourism agreement soon, aimed at to further boost the relations between the two brotherly Countries.

It was told by the Iranian ambassador to Pakistan Mehdi Honardoost in a meeting with the Managing Director Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor Khan in Islamabad.

The envoy said that soon after Ramazan, a high level Iranian delegation would visit Pakistan, and an agreement would be finalized between the two Countries for the tourism sector.

During the meeting, the managing director PTDC briefed the Iranian ambassador about his recent visit to Iran and meetings with senior government officials about promotion of tourism between the Countries. He said tourism related issues were discussed in those meetings, and two-way views were discussed.

The managing director PTDC assured that he was ready to cooperate with the Iranian envoy all the time as brothers.

Chaudhry Abdul Ghafoor said tourism was a sector through which the people of one Country met the people of other Countries, and relationships and links increased.

The Iranian envoy said his Country valued its relations with Pakistan, adding both brotherly Countries were enjoying very cordial relations.

The ambassador said by promotion of tourism, they could bring their nations more closer and might create more employment opportunities to alleviate poverty. He said through that, the message of love, brotherhood and peace could be conveyed to the World.
