PESHAWAR, Pakistan: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has directed the authorities concerned to complete preparatory measures for developing tourists spots of Kaghan and Mansehra.
In order to facilitate tourists judicious utilization of available resources would be ensured in this regard.
He was presiding over 2nd meeting of Board of Kaghan Development Authority here today. Besides Chief Secretary Amjad Ali Khan, Secretaries Finance, Local government, Forest, C&W and Agriculture, Commissioner Hazara Division and other authorities concerned attended the meeting.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister was briefed about the Kaghan Development Authority and its related issues.
The Chief Minister ordered to expedite work on the preparatory measures in order to start work on developmental schemes so that the development of tourists spots could be ensured as soon as possible.
The Chief Minister said that present provincial government was striving to develop tourists’ points throughout the province adding that the government has spent Rs 1.5 billion for Galiyat.
He maintained that all the available resources would be utilized for the development of Kaghan and Mansehra to make them attractive for tourists. He stated separate development authorities were being established for different areas of the province.
Like other departments, development authorities are also being given full mandate and autonomy so that the uplift work could be continued in an efficient manner, he concluded.
