KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) MPA Sindh assembly Muhammad Sajid Qureshi was killed in firing incident in Karachi’s North Nazimabad area on Friday, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported.

The MPA Muhammad Sajid Qureshi, who was elected from Karachi’s PS-103 constituency, was shot dead along with his son by unknown miscreants when they were returning after offering Juma prayers near Ziauddin Hospital in North Nazimabad.

In the firing inident, two other people were also injured.

Fear and panic gripped the area after the incident whereas shops and markets reportedly closed down in some areas of the city.
