The mid-range smartphone that operates on the fastest networks

This Eid season is bringing plenty of excitement. The 20th of June kicks off pre Eid celebrations with Daraz Mobile Week kicking off the biggest smartphone sale event of the year. Not only is Daraz launching the most exciting event of the summer, they are also introducing the General Mobile 4G Dual into the Pakistani market for the first time on the same date.general

General Mobile 4G Dual, the new smartphone from Google’s Android one initiative is here. It will be released in Pakistan for the first time exclusively by Daraz. General mobile 4G Dual is probably by far one of the best phones that have come out of Google’s Android one initiative. Before we get to all the juicy details of this promising phone,  what sets it apart is, (as the name suggests) this is the only phone that supports 4G, and operates at such high-speed networks.

This trendy looking phone is packed with a 1.2GHZ quad-core Snapdragon processor. It has 2GB RAM, and 16 GB of built-in memory. And if that isn’t enough, it can be extended to 32 GB via SD card. It runs an Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS, with software updates to come. It has all the sensors: Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope. This in itself is enough information for one to know that this is going to be a smooth, enjoyable experience of a phone.

But of course, not everyone cares about the inside; a lot of consumers are looking for what’s on the surface. It has a 5-inch display protected with Corning gorilla glass. Your fingers will sail over the screen. It has a resolution of 720×1280, giving you image quality that could blow your mind. It offers a 294 PPI (pixels per inch) making it a 720p HD display.

Let’s talk about the cameras. A 13 megapixel back camera and 5-megapixel front camera will make this phone “the phone” for selfie lovers. It records video at 1080 p making it second only to 4K technology. At this point, you may be half sold, but there is so much more. The camera options offer dual led flash, Autofocus, burst mode, digital image stabilization, face detection, geo-tagging, HDR capture and Panorama.

The battery is a standard 2500MAH giving about 5 hours of talk time, and surprisingly maximum standby time of 150 hours. Let’s get to what the phone looks like. It weighs 135 grams, which is really light, its only 9.3mm thick, and has a beautiful faux leather back cover which gives it an extremely classy feel.

This is the phone for a person who is looking for performance and style within a budget. The phone will be released for sale on the 20th of June as Daraz’s Mobile Week begins. The price is going to be a surprise well worth the anticipation because Mobile Week is going to literally be slashing prices so low, that you might just buy two phones for the heck of it. And last but not least, Daraz is throwing in another surprise the General Mobile 4G Dual sets purchased from Daraz will have a removable battery and a dual sim option. Moscow says it won’t allow US to silence UNSC on Israeli violence against Palestinians Monitoring Desk: Russian envoy in United Nations Vasily Nebenzya said that the UN Security Council should bring peace, stability and prosperity to the Middle East and Russia would not allow United States to silence UNSC over the issue of Gaza crisis.
